She also oversees the development of product selection, post seasonal analysis and planning which are key activities undertaken to deliver financial success. Militsa was responsible for all systems, procedures and operations with regard to merchandise operations, inclusive of the pricing system and ownership of the merchandise system, Retek. Accountable for ensuring that all merchandise teams were consistent in their approach to merchandise buying and planning. This role also led the Myer Exclusive Brand Managers - a team who act as the key interface between buying and stores - to ensure that the strategy was executed for brands developed by Myer.Responsibilities included:* Leading a review of the product development process and identified a long PD cycle time from concept to on-floor leading to inefficiencies being identified in stock turn and stock on-floor delays. * Commenced a program to engage the organisation and ensure change was embedded into the organisation with the key objective being to improve speed-to-market. To date, a 20% reduction has been achieved.* Identified the requirement to develop common systems and tools for all stakeholders involved in order to underpin the process transformation.* Redesigned position descriptions across Product Developers, Myer Asia Sourcing office and the Quality Assurance teams; all aligned to common goals that reference speed-to-market objectives.* Successfully negotiated requirements for design coordinators. Upgraded IT and software requirements to ensure the role was more effective.

Senior Executive role reporting to Director, Store Design. The development of Myer Melbourne was a $300m project and the largest retail development of its time. The role was accountable to oversee that the team had a project plan in place with clear milestones to deliver the development on-time and within budget. The CEO introduced the role at a late stage when it became clear that due to the different layers of complexity of stakeholders that needed to be engaged, an internal appointee was required to pull all stakeholders together to ensure successful delivery.Responsibilities included:* Developing a project plan with the assistance of a specialised building project manager for all internal fit out requirements (concessions and supplier fit outs) that were not part of the scope of works for the main building. * Undertaking a review of the financial budget and identified a shortfall that required escalation to the Myer Board for approval to increase. Financially accountable to deliver each stage on budget. * Developed a team rhythm to operate more efficiently. Inclusive of informal weekly WIP meetings, formal stakeholder meetings with internal and external consultants. * Facilitated external architects and design coordinators with internal stakeholders to deliver merchandise requirements by level. This was further complicated by having to engage and work with architects and builders who were contracted by the buildings owners to deliver stages on time. * Negotiated tenders for food offerings in-store and Mural Hall.
