I'm a super self-motivated, "let's-get-it-done"-kinda of person. I enjoy motivating teams, keeping timelines, creative problem solving, and I'm a sucker for Post-it Notes. One of the most rewarding parts of working at Global Protection, parent company of ONE Condoms, is the educational content and workshops I get to develop. Our MyONE Custom Fit brand, which features more than 50 condom sizes, is my favorite brand to educate about and do marketing for. A recent project I'm proud of was the complete rebranding of ONE Condoms, including our brand guide and launching packaging that is more sustainable. Our ONE and MyONE Custom Fit condoms also recently became the first ever brands to receive FDA approval for anal, which I was very excited to get featured in The New York Times. Here's what I do:- Strategic development and implementation of marketing campaigns and educational programs.- Social media strategy and campaigns. - Branding.- Media outreach.- Project management.- Managing teams and internship programs. - Product launches, including product branding & naming, supply chain, packaging changes (understanding requirements for medical devices like condoms), and marketing launch. -Presenting to audiences large and small about sexual health, including: Black Nurses Rock Conference; Harvard University Sex Week; Sex Ed Conference; New York University; and at colleges. - Condom distribution at events and concerts. - I truly believe in the art of being detail-oriented. In my college days, I had various experiences in leadership and education. As a Healthy Sexuality Peer Educator at The University of Texas at Austin, I conducted sexual health promotion, workshop facilitation, and patient education for fellow students. As a volunteer for the Austin ISD School Health Advisory Council, I evaluated sex education curricula and helped devise recommendations to the Austin ISD Board of Trustees.One of my greatest highlights in life was meeting and getting an autograph from Dr. Ruth Westheimer at the National Sex Ed Conference 2014.
