Oversee five different Relay for Life events around the state. Portfolio goaled at raising $404,000 across the below communities:HomerMat-SuJuneauEagle RiverKodiak Island•Accountable for the achievement of income performance targets for a portfolio of Relay For Life events, including community feeder events.•Responsible for effectively and efficiently completing activities and meeting target deadlines in order to execute successful events.•Implements best practices for leadership development, increased participation and event revenue growth; drives and encourages creativity and innovation at the community level.•Develops and demonstrates skills in community organization, relationship building and talent identification and leadership development.•Engages, trains and manages relationships with community volunteers to ensure successful events execution, with a focus on event volunteer leadership positions.•Engages the community in Relay For Life to drive increased event participation – event committee, teams, team members, sponsors and survivor/caregiver – including youth engagement through teams in community events, Relay Recess and Field Day, high school Coaches vs. Cancer.

- Manages the load in, load-out, inventory and up keep of all event signage, banners and flags- Trains, manages and supports all operations of local volunteer Crew team- Reviews each site map and tours the site with Site Coordinators for sign placement- Manages all necessary signage at each site with support from staff and volunteers

• Works in a team and demonstrates willingness to be flexible and to take on tasks to ensure the success of the MuckFest series;• Requires the ability to lay out the site from a site plan and prepare the site for the arrival of the obstacle build team;• Manages vendors and contractors for set up and break down of event;• Follows site plan to ensure proper route marking;• Volunteer management, overseeing registration processes, merchandise sales and post event reporting;• Interfaces with the local MS chapter:• Interfaces with local site contacts, vendors, municipalities;• Provides day of event details to sponsors, vendors, EMS, lifeguards and site contacts;• Documents site conditions pre and post event according to SOP standards;• Completes incident reports and reports incidents to the appropriate parties;• Schedules equipment delivery and pick up;• Updates orders and communicates details to the appropriate team members responsible for purchasing;

- Qualify Student Athletes by speaking with interested parents- Set up as evaluations for qualified recruits with National Scout- Responsible for coordinating and managing daily schedules of evaluations- Conduct initial research on each athlete to help with projecting the athlete's potential

Throughout the course of 3 months, I assisted with planning Warrior Dash New Jersey, traveled to New Jersey, Nebraska, and Colorado to help run Warrior Dash events, be a part of the Print Marketing, Site Map Design, and Volunteer teams, and also provided our participants with outstanding customer service.Highlights of Summer 2012- Extensive research of 12 markets, successfully booked 22 print advertising campaigns across the country- Planned, recruited volunteers, and assisted with Warrior Dash New Jersey, which brought in approximately 8,000 runners- Managed volunteer recruitment groups for 10 Warrior Dash, Beach Dash, and Great Urban Races- Assisted with recruitment and organization of over 1,000 volunteers for the inaugural Firefly Music Festival - Created multiple course and parking maps, and assisted with the highly anticipated Goose Guide, all executed with Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign- Confidently ran and managed volunteers for Information, Packet Pickup, Merchandise, and Finish at multiple Warrior Dashes
