• Manage a federal grant, state plan, and program budget• Plan, manage, and evaluate Diabetes Prevention and Control Program initiatives• Supervise and provide guidance to the Diabetes Prevention and Control Program Team• Provide leadership to the Dakota Diabetes Coalition• Prepare written and oral reports for internal and external documents and audiences• Emcee annual Diabetes Summit• Assist with the development of the state plan, communication plan, staffing plan, and work plan for the Coordinated Chronic Disease Program• Facilitate local and statewide meetings with internal and external partners• Provide guidance in diabetes surveillance activities• Respond to media and data requests regarding diabetes• Prepare professional articles for publications on diabetes-related topics• Provide support and technical assistance to state collaborative efforts in diabetes prevention and control• Prepare and monitor contracts • Collaborate with internal and external partners
