I performed daily laboratory duties, which included synthesizing nanoparticle samples using the reprecipitation method, collecting data from the samples via UV-Vis spectroscopy, and analyzing the data using a self-written Python code. This was a National Science Foundation-funded Research Experience for Undergraduates.

Under the mentorship of Dr. Michael Vaughn, I worked on a methodological study that increased understanding of first impressions and stereotyping. My responsibilities included recruiting and interviewing participants, transcribing interviews, and conducting literature reviews.
