| International Guidelines on People-Centered Smart Cities |193 UN member states have requested UN-Habitat to devise global guidelines, acting as a foundational structure for shaping smart city policies, strategies, and regulations at national and local scales, to ensure that digital urban infrastructure and data contribute to making cities sustainable, inclusive, prosperous and respectful of human rights.responsibilities:- liaise with the 31 experts in the global expert group - organize, moderate and design the monthly global expert meetings and collaboration process- shape the agendas for the regional, stakeholder and thematic consultations globally- publish the open online consultation for external stakeholders and analyze outcomes - co-create the world smart cities outlook research report informing the guidelines- project coordination, communication and stakeholder management - contribute with expertise in collective drafting of guidelines, review the different drafts

- launched digital rights & ethics as a lasting priority and expertise in the city, founded a new team & created a roadmap, governance and strategy for the years to come on the topic.- coordinated administration-wide improvements for the advancement of digital human rights & ethics, enabling institutional and democratic control mechanisms, policy, participation, awareness, innovation and skills.- implemented ethical decision-making in teams across the organization in design, practice and policy

- developed digital policy including policy-instruments for new and emerging technologies (including AI and algorithms: e.g.; procument clauses, AI registry, ethical leaflet).- facilitated workshops and trainings on technology, ethics & moral reflection and for teams across the city working on digital transformation and innovation.

| Cities Coalition for Digital Rights |- coordinated daily management of the coalition as first point of contact for partners, core-team, cities and stakeholders.- build a global network of 60+ cities & partners - working together to protect and uphold digital rights at the local and global level. - initiated a guide for 'mainstreaming human rights in the digital tranformation of cities, linked to a pilot programme for cities to implement elements of the guide in the context of their local challenges.- set up collaborative city-to-city projects, knowledge sharing activities and events- launched a new governance structure and 6 long-term missions with political support as guiding mechanism for the further growth of the coalition
