NACHRI's Quality Transformation Network, 88 children's hospitals and growing, is the largest quality improvement network in pediatrics. By joining forces on high impact clinical challenges like preventable infections, QTN hospitals are improving care, outcomes, and safety faster and at lower cost than any one hospital can achieve working alone. As of March 2011, QTN hospitals had prevented over 2600 infections, saved 319 lives, and saved the health care system $93.3 million. As Director of Network Development, I'm responsible for bringing more hospitals into the QTN and for working with hospital decision makers to ensure the QTN meets their needs for quality improvement.
