Food And Beverage Operations Manager
Current•Consistently offers professional, engaging & friendly service.•Responsible for the service excellence and efficient management of over 210,000 square feet of combined meeting and function space ensuring all functions maintain a first class and positive impact; including ambiance, décor and service delivery•Oversees the recruitment, mentorship and development of 10 Event Operations leaders, 100 full-time & 50 part-time colleagues•Participates in the budgeting and forecasting process by establishing clear and precise priorities for operational and renovation capital expenditures acting in a fiscally responsible manner•Assume responsibility for all event and function facilities, including cleanliness, repair and maintenance, reporting any deficiencies as required• To develop and maintain a safety culture within the department and ensure departmental adherence to and awareness of Health & Safety standards•To ensure that food safety practices are strictly adhered to including allergy and sanitation procedures.•Creates strategies for improvement and stays on top of current trends•Must be able to develop a strong working relationship with The Executive Chef, to ensure that a common vision is shared•Ensures attendance at pre-conference meetings and develops strong relations with on-site clients ensuring that every need is anticipated.•Ensures all financial reporting is maintained and accurate billing for each event.•Conducts regularly scheduled departmental meetings.•To liaise with other Food and Beverage departments to ensure that all resources are being equally shared and that the entire division operates as a unified force.•Always maintains the strictest confidentiality on all matters about management, staff, and any associated food and beverage matters.•Supports all Fort Edmonton Park initiatives and can follow established policies, procedures, service standards.
