Mina is an accomplished non-profit executive, public speaker, educator, and writer, driven by a core question: how do we create communities where everyone feels they belong?Mina has engaged in a series of impactful projects for the past two decades. Combining her years of service as a Social Justice Advocate, Group Facilitator, Social Entrepreneur, and more recently Filmmaker, Mina uses her creativity to amplify the voices of those often unheard. Recognizing the growing disconnect in our society, she launched RoK (Republic of Kindness), an interactive program that blends film screenings with community-building workshops.Her award-winning short film, Between the Silence, tackles the epidemic of loneliness, social isolation, and belonging. Through the stories of two elderly women, the film is screened in community spaces to spark a conversation about alleviating loneliness and fostering meaningful connections with our families, colleagues, and neighbors. A true global citizen, Mina's experiences living, volunteering, and studying worldwide have solidified her belief: the desire to belong is a universal human need. She empowers individuals and communities with curiosity and empathy to bridge divisions and create a more connected world.
