My background is in Material Science and Physics with a focus on a study of soft matter, complex fluids, and formulations by using physical and chemical analysis techniques.My research is focused on the synthesis and flow properties of complex materials (gels, suspensions, emulsions, pastes, foams). My approach is to find microstructure, thermal and chemical properties of formulations that play a prominent role in the properties of fluids. Then I modify and adjust the formulation to desired applications in pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and food products. I gain broad experience in a wide range of analytical techniques with a focus on rheology, x-ray scattering (SAXS & WAXS), differential scanning calorimetry, and microscopy also well versed in analytical chemistry and physical chemistry.

Postdoctoral ResearcherChalmers University Of Technology 2018 - Sep 2020Gothenburg, SwedenProject: formulation, preparation, and rheology characteristics of cellulose nanoparticles, Chitin nanocrystals, and wood-based composites.CNCs are one of the emerging topics in materials science, with numerous potential applications such as reinforcements in composites, food, coatings, transparent films, flexible displays, the substrate of printable electronics, and in drug delivery. Especially for the manufacturing of CNC-based films and CNCs as rheology modifiers, understanding the rheological behavior of CNC suspensions is of paramount importance. In this project, first, I comprehensively focus on the thixotropy and rheological behavior of CNC and CHNC water suspensions in relation to their phase behavior by changing the concentration in suspensions. On the other hand, I also work on chemical modification of CNC to crosslink the nanocrystals and be able to produce more flexible films. -
