Project Manager (Safety)
Current-Develop project plans and provide day-to-day supervision of project activities including but not limited to compliance to the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements associated with the department's program services and outcomes such as Infection Control Plans (ICP), Exposure Risk Assessments, Safety Data sheets, Safety Committee fidelity and Covid-19 protocols -Manage and coordinate work among project team members responsible for implementing safety protocols, ensuring consistency follow through with department safety committees-Review operational processes to ensure they are in line with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements and lead department and enterprise wide safety initiatives-Facilitate project scoping, develop goals, milestones, deliverables and implementation planning as it relates to general projects to build, centralize and strengthen workplace safety safety infrastructure within DCJ-Recommend and assist in the implementation of goals and objectives; evaluate operations and activities of assigned responsibilities; recommend improvements and modifications; recommend and implement policies and procedures; assist in the development and administration of the budget; participate in forecasting additional funds for staffing and resources; and prepare various reports related to safety operations and activities-Monitor, review and analyze project progress against project plan; implement and manage project changes and update plans; prepare and present status reports defining progress, problems, and solutions to progress and integrate safety infrastructure within DCJ-Analyze and review federal, state, and local laws, regulations, policies, and procedures in order to ensure compliance; conduct analysis on best practices and trends, and formulate and implement safety recommendations
