I manage the customer service team, client relations and web development of Adoption.com Parent Profiles, Photolisting, Reunion Registry, and Community.

I developed supportive relationships with youth and served as a positive role model. I also provided case management of children that were on probation or diversion, prepared reports for the court with recommendations for treatment of the juvenile offenders and administered drug tests and performed searches of the juveniles’ room and properties. I regularly met with youth, family, schools and other agencies to ensure offender’s compliance and progress and ensured that juveniles were held accountable for violations by filing probation violations or imposing sanctions. In addition to working with the youth I also met with their families to conduct social histories, evaluations, and assessments. I also had the opportunity to be involved with Upper Valley Juveniles Making Progress (JMP) Court by attending court hearings and wrap-around sessions with offenders and being involved in staffing meetings.

My duties as a hospital social worker were to help individuals, couples and families cope with social, psychological, and medical issues stemming from illness. I also an advocate for patients and helped them fully utilize medical care and services by explaining health-care resources and policies to patients, family and professional staff. I made arrangements for the patient and family to receive needed follow-up care by referring to healthcare resources and showed understanding of the social cultural and religious variables that contributed to the patients responses to illness and their use of healthcare resources. In addition I assured that patients' medically related emotional and social needs were met and maintained throughout their medical treatment.
