I am an adaptable Senior Structural Engineer with more than 20 years of experience on oil & gas projects for Worley, Syncrude and Suncor (most recently). I have successfully worked on projects from small to large scope, brown to green field, static to dynamic analysis, steel framed structures and buildings to concrete foundations.Since 2016, I worked at Syncrude Site Engineering Service Department for various project to improve the current structure integrity. I conducted field visits/inspections, evaluations, assessment, determining the scope of work, providing options & paths forward, giving engineering estimates & recommendations, initiating hazard/supporting risk assessments, and issuing engineering package. I worked on many multi-discipline projects with operation, production, maintenance, construction, vendor, fabricator, project manager, engineer and other consulting company,I have held various positions such as Design Engineer for structural design and analysis, Civil & Structural Discipline Lead, area discipline lead and recently as Project Manager on site structural discipline projects. I am very familiar with Canadian and American building codes and standards. I have been a registered Professional Engineer with APEGA since 2006 and passed the FE&PE exam in 2016. I hold a Master of Structural Engineering Degree from the University of Alberta and from an institute in China.
