Took the primary responsibility in electrical design including product architecture, specification, circuit design, PCB layout, qualification, and interface with internal cross-functional teams, suppliers and manufacturing partners. Identified and optimized solutions for fuel cell power conversion, energy savings for standby and storage conditions, lithium-ion battery management, microcontroller and peripherals including analog and digital sensing functions and various drivers, ESD, EMI, and product security and authentication. Managed design cost and development schedules. With more than a year's effort with the entire team, the product was successfully launched at CES 2013, and won three awards including its prestigious Innovation Award for Design and Engineering in the Portable Power category.

Participated in underwater acoustics lab developments and field experiments; conducted numerical modeling and experimental data processing. The best memory that I have, and never forget, is after those two-week long deep sea experiments, during which I kept eating, shaking, throwing out, and working, I would still feel the land rock back and forth for at least two or three days after I got back to earth.
