👋🏽 Hi, my name is Minh-An! Some folks call me Minna.🎓 University of Toronto Alum with a Honours Bachelor's of Science: Specialization in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology.🌇 Based in the GTA, with a passion for education, providing opportunities for underserved communities, creating cultural/diversity programming, and advocating for digital literacy, female empowerment, mental health awareness and beyond📚 My previous work experiences spanned industries including Bioinformatics, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Data Science. Additionally, I have 8+ years of experience with mentoring, tutoring, and coordinating educational events focused on high school students. 💻 As for my future, I hope to find a role that encompasses my interests in project management, education, user experience, data science, mentorship, and/or STEM. I thrive in environments with open minds, enthusiasm towards continuous development, and a sense of humor.🏔 When I'm not working, you can find me contributing to initiatives within the Asian Employee Resource Group (ERG) at Shopify as the Communications and Operations Lead, mentoring for the Technovation Girls program (virtually), and searching for the best food in Toronto.💪🏽 I am proficient in various programming languages - including R, Python, Java, Javascript, HTML, CSS, and SQL. My technical expertise, resourcefulness, and communication skills allow me to excel in ambiguity with a positive attitude. My current role involves supporting the Apprentice Product Manager (APM) program - a rotational program empowering diverse high potential candidates to break into the PM industry.
