I was introduced to the world of programming when I was 14. The first programming language I learned was Scratch, a blocked-based visual programming language with a simple user interface. In the class, the teacher taught us basic programming which I used to make a simple shooting game. Finding it fascinating, I wanted to improve my game to become more sophisticated. I started to go to the computer lab during lunch break to refine my work. During my absence from break, my classmates began to wonder about my disappearance and questioned me about my activity. In an explosion of interest, I showed them the game I had designed. They were simply to say, blown away, quickly requesting to join in co-developing the game with me. We exchanged ideas, brainstormed, and troubleshot the program together during the lunch break and after school. It was so fun that I made friends who had the same interest as me, something I had never dreamed to have found.
