My customers included many EU-countries plus Turkey and I was also responsible for deliveries to North-America. I contacted potential customers / acquired new assignments by phone, e-mail and internet plus planned their marketing actions including Etuovi and Oikotie visibility. Correct pricing was essential so I studied the market carefully as well as previous sales in the area. I also took care of the arrangements for photo sessions and showed the properties for potential buyers.

My main responsibility was to place both purchase and sales orders, contact our suppliers and invoice our partners peridiocally for installments done by our technicians. Since I was the only one working in financial administration (with the managing director), accuracy and courage to step out of one's comfort zone were needed every day. I also prepared the data for the calculation of salaries for our accounting office and liaised with them e.g. for overdue payments. Debt collection in co-operation with OP-Perintä was also an important part of my job and especially at first it required detectivelike skills. Debt collection had not been done for a year or so before me, so I did a lot of thorough background studying to get facts straight. Once I got the system working, payments flowed in quicker and our solvency improved.Working for TTL was my professional "comeback" after having spent some years at home with Ella and Elias. It was a relief to notice that I hadn't lost my professional touch at home and that I was even better than before at multitasking and scheduling, to mention but a few.

Gave birth to two beautiful children, Ella in Oct 2006 and Elias in Sep 2009. Decided to stay at home with them till Elias was 3. Improved my skills in logistics, clothing and food maintenance, household budgeting and multitasking in general. Because of my great interest in interiors and functionality of floor plans I applied to study interior design at TAMK in 2011 and was in charge of the building project of our summer house during 2012-2013.

When I joined Azlan the company had been operating in Finland for only a couple of months. My main responsibility was at first to place sales orders and to follow up the delivery process from our warehouse in UK to our end-customers. Following the head office guidelines we developed and enhanced the work processes more suitable for Finnish business environment e.g. tendering and debt collection. I gained experience quickly and adopted new responsibilities e.g. pricing and post-sales crediting, monitoring our profit margin and taking corrective measures when needed. I worked daily in close co-operation with our head office in UK and our suppliers (e.g. Cisco, Nortel, Alcatel). Our customers and end-customers included e.g. other IT wholesale companies, tele-companies, municipalities, hospitals and universities. In 2005 I worked as a member of the SAP R/3 implementation project team both in Helsinki and Munich analyzing existing customer and product data, testing the new environment from end-user's point of view etc.Training new sales assistants was also one of my responsibilities.
