Worked cross-functionally with Business Strategy, Sales, Operation, Risk Management, Finance, IT and Compliance to manage the performance of the $500M CarMax partnership program. Implemented a number of CarMax program changes to increase annual NPV. Changes included implementing a new structure risk scoring model and a new pricing optimization. Strengthened the strategic partnership with CarMax, Inc. by analyzing and recommending purchasing CarMax’s own low risk auto loan portfolio, while helping alleviate their funding constraints during the Great Recession. Rolled out a new marketing stage model for Pre-Approval (PA) program and re-designed PA zones, resulting in significant increase of net responses. Developed an NPV driven tool to guide Relationship Managers’ flexility on loan exceptions to enhance top dealers penetration.

Acted as a lead analyst for Core Subprime business of $4B annual originations; mentored new analysts and shared best practices. Analyzed and implemented a new generation risk model Galaxy resulting in overall risk reduction. Performed swap set analysis, model validation; created risk-based product segmentation and the associated credit and pricing policies; oversaw model implementation throttle and post rollout monitoring. Recommended and implemented a series of approve/decline, credit policy and pricing changes to help Core Subprime business navigate through the financial turmoil of 2008.

Developed an automated system to simultaneously monitor performance of all past product tests and rollouts, as well as key BAU metrics (app volume, cash-out, deal structure metrics, etc) to identify key issues and inform management in a timely manner.Analyzed and implemented a multivariate loan level risk model incorporating consumer credit risk and deal structure, resulting in improved accuracy in product valuation, optimized pricing and increase in profitability.Analyzed varies past tests to drive insights and recommended fine-tuned final rollout strategies.
