Provide resources and support to US military veterans so that they engage in training or courses to launch new careers, ascend in established careers, and/or pursue interests for the sake of self fulfillment.

Help individuals conduct better job searches and land desired/decent employment. Receive referrals from therapists and psychiatrist whose patients struggle with the process and from parents who want to buttress their adult children’s launch or relaunch.

In 2018, KCC launched the GYO Teacher Assistant training / certification program that leads individuals (from low income communities and who love children) to become teacher assistants and teachers in their communities. I was brought on to recruit, support , train, and lead individuals through the training and ensure they get jobs in reputable schools after graduation. 250+ uniquely talented people have since become educators and serve students and small children who look like them. We all chip away at the shortage of educators and we are diversifying the education sector.I also contributed significantly to the design and expansion of the program, and I’ve been very fortunate to work alongside and learn from several highly inspiring , bright , and effective and leaders and colleagues.

Traveled to NYC residents' homes to inform people about the financial and environmental benefits of installing solar panels. Closed 20+ deals ($400K+ in new business). Assisted people with understanding the technical/financial/administrative procedures and making informed choices about whether solar was right for them.

Provided job coaching/ placement services to disenfranchised 18-24 year olds and screening/sourcing services to employers. Placed 175 participants in competitive employment; established and built relationships with 20+ reputable employers. Promoted to lead, co-managed internship program, supervised trained/supported 2 workforce specialists.

Career counseled/job developed for formerly homeless young adults and adults diagnosed with SPMIs. Learned and utilized MI, created/facilitated entrepreneurial and career related support groups to engage residents. Engaged employers, produced networking events, placed 30% of active participants into employment. Initiated stronger collaboration between Employment and Housing staff so that residents' service plans were clear and agreed upon by all.

Provided Job Readiness/Placement/Retention services to 200+ homeless individuals. Helped 50+ job seekers get interviews and/or jobs. Supervised one full-time employee, several CWEP interns, and volunteer GED tutors. Responsible for NY State OTDA Retention grant performance & recording. Grant renewed 2 times; received 2 promotions and 1 Employee of the Year award
