I am dedicated to supporting Earthjustice's Coal, Clean Energy & International legal and policy teams with strategic communications and advocacy. I work closely with these teams to develop and implement communications tactics —including dynamic storytelling, press & media, and public outreach—to support priority litigation and legislative advocacy in our docket, help build Earthjustice’s profile, and defend communities and the environment from the fossil fuel industry.

I'm campaigning for our planet’s most precious resource—water—and our human right for it to be safe, clean, and accessible using a winning combination of on the ground organizing and multimedia online engagement. I use digital storytelling and organizing to advance grassroots campaigns, produce online media content, organize community outreach and engagement, write and deploy fundraisers, conduct research, and perform website maintenance. Most recently, I directed, produced, and promoted a 12 minute documentary, A Tale of Two Cities, to raise awareness about water privatization in the state of Michigan.

I supported the work of Earthjustice's creative team by writing, editing and promoting engaging content that showcased the work of the organization. I worked on a variety of creative projects including blog series, interviewing, graphic design and visual storytelling, the quarterly magazine, a monthly newsletter, and social media. Enhanced the productivity of the Customer Support & Human Resources departments by: - managing projects;- selecting job applicants & arranging interviews; - maintaining databases, office environment, and customer relations;- improving the user experience of the university content management system, OU Campus.

Independently directed multiple discussion seminars every week with over 70 undergraduates for the course “Global History, Culture, and Ideology.” Wrote and distributed quizzes, graded writing assignments, and administered course grades.

- Coordinated the tasks of 15 volunteers at the 2012 Annual Meeting. - Oversaw the full production of multiple design projects from conception to contracted printing.- Facilitated the launch of the organization’s Tumblr by researching social media best practices and designs, and creating new content. - Supported the department by designing and copyediting print and web materials using Adobe Creative Suite.

Supported the efforts of the foundation by providing research to the directors and maintaining the foundation website using Adobe Dreamweaver.

- Coordinated online viewings and materials design for the annual public outreach and education event, “The Toxies.” Viewings were held in over 20 US states, Canada and Australia. - Aided in design and maintenance of the event website and social media outreach on Facebook and Twitter. - Produced educational materials and research reports for the Peace and Security division. - Aided staff in program implementation working toward policy changes to protect public health from environmental toxins and nuclear threats.- Promoted membership building via public awareness, outreach, and fundraising events. - Other tasks included: blog writing, office administration, and donor database management.

- Provided customer service in the ticket office and call center regarding ticketing, sales, seating and season information with donors and non-donors. - Loaded and unloaded the equipment of visiting touring companies; aided all tasks required of a backstage production crew including management of lighting and sound.- Trained new hires.

Researched interview segment topics, and arranged interviews with guests from business, politics, and entertainment for the live interview program, Insight.
