I am currently a senior undergraduate student that would like to major in business administration. My interest in business administration began to grow when I began to work with my father to help him with his taxes. Additionally, I began to get more intrigued on how a business works when I began a part time job at Marshall's. Working as a part time cashier and sales associate, increased my desire to work in a business setting even more. Not only does my part time job help me obtain valuable skills such as customer experience and effective communication, but it has also allowed be to obtain leadership skills that allow me to train new employees. I am currently in the role of Shift Lead at Lalaland kind cafe, this role has allowed me to better understand the food industry and the components that are behind the business. Being in charge of a team has been very rewarding as I have seen my coworkers and myself grow into better leaders.Throughout my four years in high school, I have been a member of the National Honors society. Volunteering my time encouraged me to assist others, which made me love volunteering. I also dedicated some time to play tennis and be a member in the high school orchestra. Being a member of a tennis helped me gain the ability to handle pressure. Time management and responsibility allowed me to be confident when playing at concerts for orchestra. After completing my bachelor’s degree in business administration, I aspire to be a financial advisor, where I intend to focus my time on managing a company’s expenses. With my ability to handle pressure and effective communication, will allow me to be able to keep track of trends that can affect clients and help these clients create plans. Over the next couple of years, I hope that opportunities will arise to improve my ability of adapting to the world of finance.
