I am an experienced organizer who has worked most of her 34-year career in transport logistics and Supply Chain in the Netherlands and abroad. The most fun in my jobs was coaching, mentoring and helping to develop young talent in the (logistics) organization. In addition, I get energy from planning and organizing the supply and demand of resources and services as efficiently as possible together with my team. By nature I am someone who is always looking for how processes and activities can be organized more efficiently. I like to work within set frameworks, but I also need the freedom to go out of the box when the situation arises. My former colleagues describe me as energetic and a "people" person.I am looking for a part-time position in which I can use my skills and experience and all of the above. Supply Chain Logistics LeadShell Jul 2018 - Aug 2020Den Haag En Omgeving, NederlandHere I was mainly responsible for providing central logistics support to assets worldwide. In terms of content, I worked a lot on analyzing and improving work and planning processes within the logistics organization. This also included advising on improvements for a transparent and more efficient demand / capacity planning. I was an active member of the team for research into and implementation of logistics IT applications. Promoting E2E Supply Chain integration within the organization with a focus on integration with planning processes was a continuous focus. Some examples of successful work:* Development and roll-out of a Job Competence process and tool (Brunei) through which competence assessments, training and developments of logistics personnel could be monitored and managed.* Set up a Proof of Concept study, analysis, processes and method for vessel scheduling (Malaysia) with the aim of improving the visibility of the demand in order to subsequently be able to better deploy the fleet.* Successful set up, training and implementation of IT applications Well Office (Nigeria) and Golstar (NL). Resulting in 25% fewer supply vessel sailings and increased use of available vessels. -
Logistics Country Lead MajnoonShell Jul 2017 - Jun 2018IrakIn Majnoon my main responsibilities were the development of the personnel strategy and the design of the logistics organization. The main task was to work with my team on setting up and executing plans for the development of the local community and contractors with a focus on contract management and safety. I was the contract holder for all logistics contracts (equipment, diesel, services) and had a supporting role in security investigations, audits and reviews. My daily focus was on managing coordination between logistics departments and customers. A continuous focus on improvements for which the LEAN method was often used. Other operational tasks including supervision of Lifting and Hoisting activities, diesel operations and special transports of materials were also my responsibility. Some highlights from my time in Majnoon:* Manager of a team of 26 employees, a mix of expats and local staff* Development of Supply Chain Integrated Operations & Planning Cell, which makes E2E activities more visible and departments can collaborate faster and more efficiently. This has resulted in savings in contract design and management, increased utilization rates of logistics resources / services and reduced stocks.* Co-development of a lifting frame for drill pipes which made unloading a truck 60% faster (Due to extreme weather conditions, the faster the better)* Successful, timely and cost-neutral close-out of all logistics contracts related to the termination and departure of Shell from Iraq. -
Logistics Superintendent MajnoonShell Oct 2014 - Jun 2017IrakMy responsibilities were to ensure that the logistics services in the Iraq base ran smoothly. This included coordinating vehicle inspections and a road worthiness program for all vehicles in the Iraq base. Important task to coach and develop local logistics team and service providers.
