Miriam spent many years dancing with Kyle Marshall Choreography as a founding company member. Other past dance projects include working with Susan Marshall, Isaac Pool, Stephanie Acosta, Maya Lee-Parritz, Stephen Petronio Company, the Merce Cunningham Trust, GREYZONE, Zultari Gomez, Lisa Fagan, Sarah Lifson, and Kayla Farrish.As a choreographer, Miriam has collaborated with Carlo Antonio Villanueva since 2014. Their work was presented at Dance Place, The Kennedy Center, Brooklyn Arts Exchange, Invocation Proclamation Manifesto at Gibney Dance, Movement Research at Judson Church, Cathy Weis' Sundays on Broadway, FABxAUNTS at WOW Café Theatre, the Jack Crystal Theater at NYU, Rutgers University, and the Brooklyn Studios for Dance. Their work has received support from a NYU Tisch Summer Dance Residency, a creative and teaching residency at Stony Brook University’s Center for Dance, Movement, and Somatic Learning, as well as from the Foundation for Contemporary Arts Emergency Grant.
