Ik kijk terug op een veelzijdige en rijke loopbaan in en rondom het beroepsonderwijs. Internationale samenwerking is voor mij altijd een rode draad geweest. Ik heb lesgegeven in Zimbabwe, vele projecten gedaan in Midden en Oost Europa en Azië. De laatste zes jaar heb ik voor de EU gewerkt bij de European Training Foundation als specialist in ontwikkeling van kwalificatiesystemen. Nu is er tijd voor mijn andere passie, de Italiaanse taal en cultuur én een nieuwe uitdaging met het communicatieteam van het Rietveldpaviljoen, een kunsthal voor iedereen waar kunst wordt gemaakt, geexposeerd en beleefd. I look back on a versatile and rich career in and around vocational education and training. International cooperation has always run like a thread through my working life. I taught in Zimbabwe and did many projects in Central and Eastern Europe and Asia. The last six years I worked for the EU at the European Training Foundation as a specialist in the development of qualification systems. Now there is time for my other passions, Italian language and culture and a new challenge with the communication team of the Rietveld Pavilion in Amersfoort, an art centre where art is made, exhibited and experienced.
