When it comes to decision-making, I firmly believe in Theodore Roosevelt's words: "In any moment of decision, the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing." In product development, my role involves making proactive decisions. I prefer taking action in small risk learning loops and seeing results rather than overanalyzing and remaining stagnant.My role is to be a bridge builder, combining consumer insights with product technologies to create meaningful, consumer-relevant innovations. I work with a wide variety of functional areas and people, so using positive intrapersonal skills is crucial. I’m a driven and action-oriented manager, with plenty of enthusiasm and optimism. I thrive when I’m able to start from scratch and create something new and exciting and have the space to run with new opportunities. My passion for exploring new spaces and creating extends outside of my industry. I built a new beverage tasting festival from the ground up, with most of the proceeds benefitting local charities. My wife and I collaborate to build out artistic celebration of life prints for a local cause. And I've written a few children's books for my kids (not yet published...maybe someday). I'm personally driven to improve men's health and support cancer research through the Movember Foundation, honoring my father and uncle. In my free time, I remain active and cherish outdoor activities like running and hiking, ideally with my wife and three sons by my side.
