- Responsible to the SW office Regional Engineering Manager and Lead Engineer for: 1 - Specification, design, manufacture, testing, installation, commissioning, training and service support for automation and control systems. 2- Ensuring that all works carried out are in accordance with the company operating procedures to deliver a high standard of quality.- Monitoring designs for changes to the scope of works and notifying the lead engineer.- Effectively communicating between internal departments and personnel, customers, suppliers and sub-contractors.- Delegation, organisation and monitoring of engineering design works of junior staff, including technicians, graduates and apprentices. - Contribute to all aspects of project health and safety life cycle. Identification of hazards and evaluation of risks in all phase of the project. Ensuring my own safety and the safety of others always.- Production of design specification documents.- Production of hardware design. - Production of PLC, HMI and SCADA software design. - Production of electrical drawings. - Procurement of materials and services. - Production of operating manuals. - Production of test plans and test specification documents. - Testing, commissioning and setting to work of equipment. - Customer training and continual support. - Scheduled maintenance/servicing, call outs and responding to emergency call outs.
