Misbah is a capital projects and infrastructure finance specialist with over 22 years of experience in advising clients throughout the world and across the project and deal lifecycle. Responsible for cross-sector advice to clients in Europe, Misbah currently serves clients across A&M's international client base, with a focus on EMEA (and, in particular, the UK & Middle East). He has previously lived and worked in the Middle East. His specialist sectors are transport, energy, education, healthcare, utilities, and real estate. With a strategy consulting and corporate finance background, his expertise includes PPP structuring, financial modelling, Business Cases, market reviews, benchmarking, cost/ops modelling, commercial due diligence, risk reviews and options advice to procuring authorities. Many of his roles have involved leading multidisciplinary teams, providing financial, legal and technical advice. Before A&M, Misbah was a Managing Director at Ankura (and Navigant before its acquisition) working across a range of infrastructure sectors, and before that worked for PwC as an Assistant Director in both its UK and Middle East Corporate Finance and Capital Projects & Infrastructure practices. He has also worked for Booz Allen Hamilton advising clients on a wide range of UK and international transport projects. Notable past clients include the European Bank for Reconstruction & Development (EBRD), World Bank/IFC, Department for Transport (UK), Transport for London, Highways England, Dubai Roads & Transport Authority (RTA), Abu Dhabi Department of Transport, Abu Dhabi Ports Company (ADPC), Etihad Rail, Oman Rail, Saudi Civil Aviation Authority (GACA), Russian Railways, Abu Dhabi Airports Company (ADAC), Isle of Wight Council, RATP and various other private sector investors and operators as well as Government PPP Units and Ministries of Finance globally. In his own time, Misbah is a Mentor with the Founder Institute helping turn ideas into fundable startups, and start-ups into global businesses. He is currently supporting the GCC - Silicon Valley & UAE programmes.
