I am responsible for building and maintaining these relationships and also creating bespoke solutions based on the clients particular needs.  Revenue targets: I am responsible for maintaining and growing revenue across my account base.  Knowledge: I am responsible for checking any restrictions/ issues prior to licensing content. The BBC licensing process is particularly complex and I ensure all footage is rights checked and clearances are in place.  Organisation skills: My workload is unpredictable but I prioritise in order to maintain high standards across my range of accounts.

In 2013 I was promoted from Sales Executive to Senior Sales Executive, within these roles my key responsibilities included: Account management: I managed a number of the company’s most valuable clients, including:- Cable and satellite channels for example Discovery, National Geographic, Sky and MTV - Daytime shows such as This Morning, Loose Women, Paul O’Grady and Richard & Judy - As part of the role, I also took over responsibility for licensing to all terrestrial tv channels  Revenue targets I played a key role towards meeting the UK team’s annual sales target.  Negotiated licence fees, technical and research fees with clients on all extract sales, ensuring the best possible fee for requested material.  Line management I maintained a strong working relationship with the sales support. I assigned requests for master material to a dedicated sales support and ensured that client technical requirements and delivery met specified production deadlines. I also line managed the sales support team and deputised for the UK Sales Manager when required. Commercial Rights Clearances needed to be in place prior to licensing any material. I was responsible for liaising with BBC editors and the Commercial Rights team to ensure the necessary clearances were secured for material being sold to my clients.  Resolved issues of obtaining material from the outset in order to manage client expectations and minimise delays. Maintained accurate client data by keeping detailed files which contained all relevant information on each negotiated sale. Systems experienced user of BBC internal systems including SPS (Sales Processing System) to raise licence agreements and issue invoices and also INFAX a BBC database of transmitted programmes.

In 2005 I was promoted from Sales Support to Assistant Sales Executive, within these roles my key responsibilities included: Provision of a high level of dedicated support to the UK Sales team and maintenance of strong operational relationships with key clients. Satisfying customer footage requests by ordering master tapes and placing dubbing orders with BBC Post Production and external facility houses. Organisation of couriers/ shipping of materials when necessary to meet customer deadlines, liaising with both Sales Executive and customers. Resolution of a wide range of customer enquiries. Handling regular key accounts i.e. ABC News and educational access accounts. From the initial request, through to rights checking, supplying material and finally issuing licence agreements.
