Contributed to the final op-ed article published in Times Higher Education, emphasizing the importance of Asian Studies Departments, as well as the lack of acts of support from academic institutions as a response to racial violence.

Worked full-time teaching Algebra, Geometry, and Basic Finance to students in grades 8 through 10 during the pandemic while taking classes remotely at Dartmouth. Presented topics to classrooms with up to 25 students, facilitated small group discussions and provided individual assistance with technical skills and interpersonal development.

Appointed by Dartmouth Professor to become part of a 30-person team comprised of students from universities across the U.S developing a business plan/company aimed at tackling two of the UN Sustainable development goals. Created an initiative called GEM (Girls Empowerment Movement) aimed at providing young women in undeserved Egyptian neighborhoods with a stronger chance of attaining an education. Organized a detailed final presentation of GEM through tools including value proposition, a mission model canvas, interviews and storyboards.
