I work for the multicultural recruitment unit of undergraduate admissions. My responsibilities are to plan visit programs for our prospective and admitted students. We have two large programs yearly, Multicultural Visit Program (MVP) and Cultural Connections. For MVP we invite 200 prospective students to visit campus for two days and introduce them to everything Ohio University has to offer. My responsibilities are to plan visit programs for our prospective and admitted students. We have two large programs yearly, Multicultural Visit Program (MVP) and Cultural Connections. For MVP we invite 200 prospective students to visit campus for two days and introduce them to everything Ohio University has to offer. Cultural Connections, held in the Spring, is a program where we invite our admitted students and their families to come to campus for a weekend full of activities. This is an opportunity for families to be introduced to the culture of Ohio University. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: planning smaller visit programs during the year, assisting with application processing, processing application refunds, processing invoices, ordering supplies and maintaining the residency request files.
