Experienced leader and team builder with two decades of executive level and program management experience. I enjoyed a distinguished career as a U.S. Marine Corps aviator and naval test pilot. After attaining three decades of experience in finance, two things inspired me to embark on a personal campaign for financial literacy to the masses: my passion for finance and the dismal state of financial literacy in America. Serving as a strategic advisor to the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, State Dept Diplomatic Teams, and the White House National Security Council Staff gave me a much larger perspective on solving hard problems. And the crisis of financial illiteracy in America is a hard problem. It is my calling to help close the wealth gap through financial literacy education. I have been a financial literacy educator since 2018 and am a member of the National Campaign for Financial Literacy. I’m a licensed financial professional in a dozen states.My education background includes a bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering Technology from the University of Memphis, a master’s degree in Aviation Systems and Management from the University of Tennessee Space Institute, and a master’s degree in National Resource Strategy from National Defense University. I retired from the Marine Corps in 2018 after 30 years of service and reside in Memphis, TN.
