I recently graduated from the University of Saint Thomas with both my BBA and MBA in Finance. During my time there I spent four years on the NCAA baseball team at UST where I learned discipline, time management, and work ethic among other things that will lead me to excel in my career path. Balancing a full semester worth of classes with early morning weights, daily practices, and games was challenging, but I was able to embrace the challenge and succeed both on the baseball field and in the classroom. Concurrently with my last year of school I worked as a finance intern with the Harris County Toll Road Authority as part of the FP&A team. Here I was able to get my first glimpse of the professional finance industry and everything I learned with HCTRA will allow me to easily transition into my first full time role.
