The committee gives reserve and settlement authority and recommendations for claim handling.• Litigation Coordinator. Ensure counsel and adjusters adhere to company’s litigation program. This includes training staff and defense firms in the litigation management program; conduct external audits for defense firms. Approve all conversion of flat fee litigated files to a different tier or time and expense.• Member of the Contractor Committee- members consists of senior management from Underwriting, Claims, Product Development, Legal and Actuarial. Objective is to align the company with the current Underwriting environment with regard to appetite, pricing, risk transfer, legislation and claim trends.
Specialty Claim Manager
Reserve and settlement authority $100,000. Responsible for the handling of complex Construction Defect (CD), Umbrella/ Excess, Special Events, Personal & Advertising, E&O, Environmental and other CGL lines of business.
