I commissioned and managed a pilot bioremediation plant to assess the effectiveness of remediating the leachate from the Watchtree (foot and mouth) landfill site. I utilised hydroxide sludge chemistry and flocculation technology to build a plant capable of reducing high concentrations of heavy metals from a series of streams originating from Parys Mountain, situated on Anglesey, N.Wales.I and managed supervised the running of the plant as well as analysed and presented the findings of the pilot using ICP.
