Chariot is the payments company dedicated to Donor Advised Fund (DAF) giving. DAFpay, Chariot’s 3-click DAF payment option, allows donors to give with their DAF anywhere they are inspired to give online. This enables donors to use their DAF in more places, more often, and unlocks more DAF gifts with better information for nonprofits. Chariot powers direct DAF payments for many of the largest nonprofits in the country, such as the American Cancer Society, Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, and the Michael J. Fox Foundation.

I spent most of 2023 dedicated to the amazing people making things happen for social good - bringing all of me experience to partner with mission-driven founders to define their strategy, share their story and successfully sell their offering to all stakeholders. My engagements were generally structured as long-term partnerships where I could support from ideation through execution across several functions. That ranged from brand positioning, defining new revenue streams, building out sales pipelines, establishing partner networks, creating or revamping key marketing functions, executive thought leadership, hiring referrals, fundraising, etc. The beautiful thing about working in social impact is that everyone has an amazing story to be told, and it’s your biggest asset in building your business. My superpower is to clarify that story and infuse it with every part of the company that’s externally facing. This makes it easier for your supporters to promote you, for the right customers to find you and for your growing community to be truly motivated by your mission.

Pond was a platform & community built to streamline how nonprofit leaders connect with the best software, services & training to power their missions. We grew to a team of 10, had 1,000s of people on the platform and raised over $1M in pre-seed capital, but ultimately struggled to reach the "breakout velocity" of usage & transactions needed to scale a marketplace. I'm incredibly proud of the work that all our amazing employees, advisors & advocates put behind our mission - always building values-first in the incredibly challenging phase of 0 to 1 at a start up. I left a 7 year career in investment banking to start Pond because I had a profound belief in the boundless potential of the impact economy. Although I believed Pond would be the catalyst to really unlock that potential, I trust that it's still going to come and I hope to be a part of it in some way.
