During the last 9 years of my career, I not only worked from home, but worked from airports, hotels and project sites. This included global staff calls (both audio & video), project calls with consultants, contractors, and staff, and meetings with colleagues and superiors. Clearly, the pandemic would mute some of this, but I'm happy to help anyone who finds them self needing assistance with any or all of these logistics. Additionally, some folks may have social distance issues (non-pandemic related) related to working alone for so much of the time. There are things to do to mitigate this as well. Feel free to contact me should you have any questions about remote working.I would also like to pay forward that knowledge which I have gained through much toil to those either just starting in the corporate real estate, project development / management, construction, design and project engineering industries. Ours are businesses that require a tricky combination of technical, corporate, business, customer, process, finance, and timing skills. How and when we use each of these is often what is used by 'C' suite folks to measure value. Therefore, if there are any colleagues out there who seek advice of a leader with experience in a variety of industries (entertainment, apparel, retail, health & fitness, advertising) with a global reach, please let me know. Most recently, I formerly directed the global project development services for all Midway brands for Merlin Entertainments, the world's 2nd largest visitor attraction company. In addition to my broad based Project Development, Owners Rep, Corporate Real Estate, and Property / Facilities Management skill set, I was a member of Merlin's Development Board. I used my leadership skills to lead a global team of professionals to help an organization reach its next level of success. During my previous tenure as VP of Real Estate & Facilities at Liz Claiborne Inc. I also served on the board of the Fashion Center BID. I now take these skills and apply them in a strategic manner for companies on a consultative basis.
