I moved to Montana in 1999 from Greeley Colorado with my little brother and my parents and I consider myself an avid skier, fisherman, river rafter, backpacker, mountain biker, and overall adventure-seeker. I have always had a passion for the outdoors and learning about biology, ecology and geology, and in 2019 I graduated Montana State University with a bachelor’s degree in fish and wildlife management. Skills I have acquired through this degree include knowledge on mammalogy, ichthyology, general ecology, general chemistry, general geology, plant identification and field sampling, research and proposal writing.I have worked as a seasonal whitewater river guide since 2013 on the Gallatin River in Montana. Through this job I have acquire several skill sets, including first aid and CPR training, swift water rescue training, extensive knowledge about river hydrology, and knowledge about local vegetation, geological features and wildlife identification. I have been a volunteer EMT basic at Central Valley Fire Department in Belgrade Montana since 2015. This job includes doing patient care on medical calls and driving ambulances and support apparatus. I also have endorsements for administering medications, king airways, and inserting IV's and IO's.
