Responsible for leading the operations of The Inn, which requires well developed organisational skills, detail-oriented, and ability to manage multiple tasks and stakeholders simultaneously. Managing a team of over 20+ staff (50+ on events) including hiring, training, rostering and ensuring staff members thrive within their most suited position tailored to their skills.2. OH&S: Ensuring health and safety protocols are being met at all times within thevenue; and showing visible leadership to the team on the importance of safety for themselves and our customers.3. Planning and coordinating events: work with event planners, promoters, and other stakeholders to plan and organize events. Ensure events run smoothly, and all necessary arrangements are made for security, staffing, parking and other services. 4. Budgeting & finance: creating and managing budgets, monitoring expenses, and developing strategies to ensure the venue operates profitably including ensuring budget achieves Key Performance Measures. 5. Customer and stakeholders: engaging with and communicating with a diverse range of individuals toensure the running of the venue is at the highest and safest standard6. Stock management 7. Service delivery: ensuring my team and myself deliver exceptional customer service, along with ensuring venue is pristine and safe for all. Ensuring team adhere to laws including responsible serving of alcohol.

I was responsible for assisting the Venue manager with all elements of running The Inn. This included1. Supporting staff management: staff rostering as well as the hiring and training of staff2. Budget management: assisting the Venue Manager to complete weekly budgets at theend of each week to ensure our KPM’s were met3. Acting Manager: the ability to Manage the venue in the absence of the VenueManager as well as being able to make crucial decisions in a high pressure environment4. Serving and Pouring Alcohol in compliance with the RSA standards
