Intern at a Biomedical Pre-clinical Research Facility while studying abroad in Prague for seven weeks. Worked with rats and mice to explore various cancer treatments and investigate the viability of radioactive biomarkers for imaging. Explored multiple imaging modalities including MRI, CT/SPECT, MPI, Optical, and Ultrasound. Created MATLAB programs to extract raw data from machines and output interpretable results into Excel sheets. Analyzed stacked images of rats/mice to measure tumor size and track radioactive markers. Collaborated with Czech coworkers to complete research projects, explore imaging modalities, and learn more about the Czech culture.
