My name is Mitchell Fox. I am currently a Marcy's Law attorney representing victims of violent crimes. I have 37 years experience as an attorney, 35 years of which were as a career prosecutor. As a prosecutor for the Los Angeles City Attorney's Office, I reviewed hundreds of thousands of cases. I was a gang prosecutor throughout the 90s and during that time joined the Narcotics and Enforcement and Surveillance Team. I served as a supervising attorney for 7 years. I am a P.O.S.T. certified instructor. For over 25 years, I was an on staff instructor at the Los Angeles Police Academy. I also taught amongst other agencies including Los Angeles World Airport Police, and SPCALA Humane Officers Training Academy. As a law enforcement instructor I taught courtroom testimony and ethics. I am interested in a criminal justice teaching positions within the community college and college system.
