I spent the last six years with Target. It was an amazing opportunity to take on a lot of responsibility at a very young age. During those years I managed up to 50 team members with seasonal expansions of an additional 20 employees. In my last role, I was responsible for eight categories of General Merchandise, all-store Fulfillment, and Dayside Operations for the top-performing store in the United States. My key strength is in coaching, mentoring, and managing people. Treating all levels of employees like people, rather than workers, leads to excellent relationships and results. I can’t imagine doing it any other way. Guests have a lot of options for shopping and treating them with genuine respect and a welcoming attitude is critical to everyone’s success. By working closely with the team, we were able to drive for great guest service. My other strength is on the operations side of the business. Leveraging order flow trends, guest shopping patterns, inventory management, and productivity-producing processes to create optimal results. I’m a creative problem-solver and have both employer loyalty and a very strong work ethic. My fulfillment role was an enormous opportunity to build a business that grew from just under $3M to almost $13M in three short years. I became a district (9 to 11 stores) subject matter expert in Reverse Logistics – unexpected, but fun!My foundation in collaboration and teamwork was fostered by a love of sports. In 2011 my team was the Colorado Soccer State Champions. I was honored to receive The Denver Post and MaxPreps 2011 Player of the Year for All-Colorado Soccer award and was named a 2011 ESPNHS Colorado Soccer All-Star. I maintained my academic responsibilities and was named the John Lynch Student-Athlete of the Year. You can’t live in the past, but you can make the most of the experiences you have lived. I’m ready for my next challenge.
