About Mitchell Holden

I am a development consultant and fundraiser. I founded a non-profit organization, The Warrior Theatre Project, which is dedicated to help adults and young adults overcome the effects of childhood abuse through art, group and peer therapy. I obtained a steady Board of Directors and secured funds to launch our first theatrical production; an article about my experiences will soon be a featured story in a book published by the organization Childhelp and assembled by the co-founders, Sara O’Meara and Yvonne Fedderson. I was a founding member of The Page 93 Theater Company, where I successfully sought out donations up to $50,000 enough funding to produce several plays, all of which were critically acclaimed. I have recently concluded co-writing a book entitled, 'The Way Out' with Arlene Drake Ph.D. which deals specifically with adults who were abused as children, with an innovative therapeutic approach which helps adults take responsibility for their recovery so they may reach their full potential. I am a graduate of Arlene’s program and have worked with her on several projects since. I conceptualized her program into steps to be used in book form. Arlene and I were invited to attend and distribute our book at The Penn State Sexual Abuse Conference in October 2012. Trauma Recovery Coach
