As a Wildlife Law Enforcement Officer, my job was to enforce state and federal game, fish, and boating laws in the state of North Carolina. I was required to be sworn as a law enforcement officer and completed an 850 hour training academy; as well as, 6 months of OJT. To maintain certification, in-service training is conducted annually.- Experience considerable public contact, often to explain game, fish, and boat laws and regulations to individuals and organizations and to present safety promotion programs. As a Fire Controlman, I was trained in the Advanced Electronics and Computer Field. I attended a 20 week long "A" School in Great Lakes, IL, followed by a 16 week long "C" school in Damneck, VA.
