Mitch is an experienced Computer-Aided Design Engineer and Mechanical Engineer with a history of working on and with automation equipment. He has developed strong skills utilizing SolidWorks, PDM, CATIA, and uses data to guide design decisions. Currently, he is managing and coordinating structural upgrades at MLB parks for C&H Baseball. A civil engineering role that is outside of his core strengths but has provided Mitch with many opportunities to grow and develop new skills. Mitch also works with a small team as a contractor to design small automation equipment for customer-specific functions with Boise ProEdge. With a diverse work background that includes jobs in construction and specialized gas delivery for the semiconductor industry, Mitch has a wide range of skills to pull from to take on new and challenging projects. He has utilized various materials and design methods throughout his career. This includes designing brackets, specialized cabinets/containers, and various miscellaneous parts out of sheet metal. Utilizing 3D printing to make both initial prototypes and functional parts. Sending CAD models to machine shops. Most importantly he has experience designing electrical-mechanical components and devices. Starting out with a concept and working through the process of 3D modeling, prototyping, then producing assembly drawings and procedures. Mitch is a self-motivated engineer seeking employment with an equally motivated team of fellow engineers, technicians, and designers that want to work together to complete projects and tackle difficult tasks.
