96th RNCS/RNCEE Systems Engineer

- Worked under High Voltage Group in the Instrumentation and Electrical Department- Managed and organized electrical equipment in Ascend’s equipment and maintenance order program, “SAP”.- Implemented software to enhance organization in the SAP program.- Confirmed new and existing load wattage and constructed AC and DC panel schedules for multiple substations.- Created switching notes to provide temporary power to multiple units and de-energize substations in anticipation for a turnaround. - Updated Ascend’s Engineering Standard documentation for the new hire and contractor training matrix.- Researched and assisted in various transformer oil testing methods performed onsite.- Performed switchgear checkouts and switch testing in order to service a Main Substation primary breaker.- Practiced proper lockout/tagout procedure when dealing with potentially hazardous and dangerous equipment.
