Responsible for setting and adjusting speed, ink flow, positions and pressure tolerances of equipment. Inspects printed products for print clarity, color accuracy, conformance to specifications and external defects. Repositions printing plates and adjusts pressure rolls and machines to improve print quality.Bindery/Finishing Operator including Cutter, stitcher, folder paper drill and collator insuring all setups are within customer specifications.

Start-up of a non-union textile plant in Greenwood, SC producing fabric and interlinings for the garment industry. Led up to 135 employees across three shifts in a weaving mill and cutting facility. Had additional responsibility for a 13-employee plant in Honduras and a 25-employee plant in Mexico. Reported to the owner and directed four Department Leaders. Had financial and budgeting responsibility to fund operations, maximize investments and increase efficiency. Oversaw all production activities. Reviewed financial statements, sales and activity reports, and other performance data to measure productivity and goal achievement to determine areas needing cost reduction and program improvement. Also set quality standards and trained production supervisors.
