Since the FTC's approved Boral's acquisition of Headwaters Resources I've assumed the responsibility of promoting our Celceram (classified fly ash) into carpet backing & plastics applications. Classified fly ash as a filler can be combined with resins at higher levels to produce a filled polymer for composites that, in many cases, can produce improved mechanical properties over conventional fillers, due to its particle size distribution.Recently I've been asked to manage sales in the Florida market for Boral Resources. Boral manages the Coal Combustion Products (CCPs) from two local power stations, the Seminole and Orlando Utilities. Located in central Florida these stations supply CCPs to several industries that are critical in the growing Florida construction market. Boral also imports fly ash from out of state to meet the local demand. Fly ash has a proven track record of improving the durability of concrete which is a key consideration in the design of structures and pavements. Longer lasting concrete structures require fewer repairs over their service life which translates to reduced consumption of natural resources, and less waste into landfills.

Improve strategic supply options, increase company's market share, proactively contact new coal combustion by product producers, develop improved relationships with utility management, develop and maintain CRM data base, memberships include; American Coal Council, American Coal Ash Association, National Ready Mixed Concrete Association, ACI (past board member LA chapter), and National Rural Electric Cooperative Association. Also, responsible for sales and marketing in AZ, NM, and the El Paso market from the Apache station located in Cochise, AZ. Sales from the Boardman, OR plant into the Pacific Northwest. As of June 2015, responsible for sales of classified fly ash into the carpet and plastics industries.
