Oversaw day to day helpdesk work flows and night time computer operations with a staff of 6 to 8 people.

Performed duties as a Windows NT Administrator, IIS Web Administrator and Network Administrator.

Perform remedial and corrective maintenance on all systems, disks (SAN), tape drives (Libraries), printers and network hardware from desktop to Alpha mainframes. Managed all hardware, software and firmware installation projects. Pursued certifications in A+, MCP, MCSE+I and attended Win2000 advanced training.

Responsibilities included the maintenance and operation of over 400 PC’s running specialized application software. Duties also included interfacing with internal/external customers and administrators, system monitoring and backups of multiple VMS clusters. Further responsibilities included installation, de-installations, troubleshooting and testing of various computer and network hardware.

Managed all preventative and corrective maintenance for all my customers. Led numerous hardware and software installation projects, which included planning, configuration, documentation and end user training.

While serving 6 years in the Nuclear Submarine force as a Navigation Electronics Technician, performing computer maintenance and operations on board the SSBN George C. Marshall. Managed such collateral duties as Supply Petty Officer, Publications Petty Officer and Training Petty Officer. Prior to my honorable discharge, I earned the rank of E-6 and was promoted to Leading Petty Officer, supervising 16 technicians.
