I am currently responsible for the design and delivery of training courses in information and communications technology. I conduct orientation sessions and arrange on-the-job training for new hires. Evaluate instructor/professional performance and the effectiveness of training programs as well as provide recommendations for improvement. Conduct and/or arrange for ongoing technical training and personal development classes for professionals and confer with management to identify training needs based on projected production processes, changes, and other factors. Develop and organize training manuals, visual aids, and other educational materials. Analyze training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs. Coordinate team building events for the department.
