Compliance Specialist
Current● Assists controller with analysis of job cost for each DiMarco project by forecasting general conditions, comparing variances against committed contracts to current budget items, and raising questions about any unforeseen impacts to construction substantial completion. ● Aids the DiMarco field staff with maintaining subcontractors' compliance by monitoring subcontractors’ insurance, DiMarco daily reporting, attendance, and staffing changes. ● Collects and analyzes highly confidential financial trade references, utilizes Experian reports in assisting in the approval process of the subcontractors’ base for the construction company. ● Maintains the DiMarco facilities team's labor hours and costs by providing a rapid response for invoicing clientele. ● Provides technical assistance for NYS apprenticeship program including managing apprenticeships, appendices OJT (blue book), and training. Additionally, tracking and scheduling field staff safety training, including Osha 30 courses, hands-on Boom and forklift training, NYS DEC, AGC, and ABC training materials.● Assists the DiMarco Management team on monthly review and distribution of DiMarco Constructors’ jobs in progress reporting, updating staffing assignment and substantial completion dates for the accounting team. ● Gathers the weekly percentage completion report from DiMarco' s field staff to help the Constructors management team understand the status of completion for each project per subcontractor scope of work.
